Hotel María del Carmen

Staff really kind at the reception and for the luggage. But the breakfast is I think the worst breakfast I had in my all trip ! Staff really rude and to busy to take the time for you. I try to explain him something in English and he was just exasperated. The fruit juice coffee ... have no taste. Take it without the breakfast ! Or just go somewhere else to eat it. Bedroom really clean but just the towel are stained but clean. The Guy for the luggage is the best I recommend but with no breakfast definitely.

This might only be a 2 star hotel but has the heart of any 4star hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful plus they speak good English. The rooms had comfortable beds and we're clean and comfortable. It might be a little dated but the position is great, and we can highly recommend it. Great value for money to.

I spent 5 nights at the hotel during the down season during July. We had the entire hotel to ourselves. The staff were very friendly, food and drinks at the bar and on-site restaurant were very affordable and well-priced. I really don't have any complaints about my stay there. I have seen that other people on many reviews complain about beds and the in room wi-fi. I was able to check my emails and watch youtube in my room and found the beds very comfortable.

This hotel is awesome. Nice spacious rooms. Clean and comfortable beds, restroom is nice and clean. Staff are very helpful and will attend to you accordingly. Food is great my family and I loved their buffet breakfast. Price in general very affordable. I would stay at this hotel every trip i make to Merida Yucatan.

It was great! Rooms super clean, the whole staff are kind and nice. The pool was clean and is big. We order an American breakfast and for $60pesos we had coffee, fruit, bread, and eggs with beans, VALENTINA the girl who serve us, was very nice and polite, we are very grateful with everyone here, thank you! :)

Stayed at Hotel Maria del Carmen for four nights. Upon my arrival, I had many "mosquitoes" in the room. I called downstairs and they offered to spray the room that night or the next morning. The next day, I had a plumbing issue. I called, and it got fixed. The day after, the light in the room went off. I called and it got fix. A big shout out to Johnny (who works at the hotel) who was able to get us in contact with a tourist company (transportation included) that did not charge an arm and a leg. Despite all the issues presented almost every day, great customer service was offered, and my issues were immediately resolved. Food at the restaurant was great!

Great hotel. The rooms are clean, and the staff is super kind and friendly. We even took a mamey to the restaurant to ask if they could prepare a milkshake with it and they charged us accordingly. The pool is clean too and the hotel is just a few blocks from downtown. The only downside is that it can be a little noisy when they're giving maintenance to the pool. But other than that it's great. Oh, ang good price as well.

Nice hotel near the centre. The main plaza is about 10 min. walk. Its not an expensive hotel and you’ll see that in the interior. The interior is good and stable but not fancy. Some places need some renovation I think. The bar is nice for a drink. Bit we did not like the guacamole. Not fresh. The room was big and clean. WiFi does not work really good.
